Facilities for Members and Visitors
Our Pavilion and Kitchen are open for use by all members and visitors. There are comfortable chairs with a log burning fire for those evenings when its a bit cooler. We have a small shop with sweets, ice cream and drinks. The Kitchen is available to make tea and coffee and prepare meals.Within the main pavilion there is access to our Sauna and separate shower. A regular Sauna evening is held every Friday evening throughout the year but it can be used at anytime for a fee.
Next to our Pavilion is our multi-function Sun Room with removable canvas doors. Being south facing even cooler days can be spent in the warm sunshine. Many club functions including meals dances and other events can be held as the building is very flexible.
Free Wireless Internet is available for members and visitors throughout the club site.
Camping is available for Tents, Caravans and Motor homes. We have 28 pitches available and 23 with 10 Amp Electrical Hookups. Fresh mains water, toilet and grey water disposal points.
NB. We are unable to accommodate any unit longer than 8 meters due to fire regulations.
The fully maintained swimming pool is open from April to October. Great to cool down on those hot summer days or to take a leisurely swim. We have a children’s climbing frame and for the younger ones a playhouse. There is a two lane Bouls court down among the old apple trees.
Our Modern Toilet block is adjacent to our Pavilion which has showers, washing and toilet facilities. A disabled friendly adapted toilet room is available. The recently installed new boiler supplies plenty of hot water and runs our central heating and showers. At the rear of the Toilet block there are washing up sinks available and the portable toilet disposal.
As you come to our club site you will pass through Haddenham. In the main street you will find a variety of shops including Grocery, Butchers, Post Office, Cafe, Chinese takeaway, Pubs, Pharmacy and there is also a Doctors surgery.
Our local town is five miles away about fifteen minutes by car, here you will find all the main shops and supermarkets.
There is a bus stop at the end of the Borough in Aldreth and also in Haddenham if you feel like a brisk walk first.
