Cambridge Outdoor Club reopening plans

Following the Government’s announcement on 22nd of February 2021 regarding the roadmap to bring the country out of lockdown, we’re pleased to be able to announce the re-opening plans for Cambridge Outdoor Club.

From 29 March, external areas of the Club will be open for Day Visits by Club members.

From 12 April, Members with their own facilities will be allowed to stay overnight in their caravans, tents or motorhomes. No indoor areas will be accessible. We are awaiting further Government clarification on the use of communal toilet blocks and showers, and will advise on this as soon as possible.

From 17 May, Visitors will also be welcome to our club, for both day, and overnight visits. The Clubhouse (including the kitchen) will only be able to be used by up to 2 households at one time; the showers and sauna will be able to be used.  Prospective members will also be able to make enquiries.

From 21 June,We hope for the end of the majority of social restrictions

We look forward to seeing our members and visitors again this summer; we’re keeping our fingers crossed for plenty of sun.

Please note that all of the dates and plans above are based on current Government guidelines and may change if Government advice changes. Each of the opening events will be managed to ensure members and visitors meet Government guidelines at that time.

A Naturist Club in the Heart of East Anglia

“Hello” and Welcome to Cambridge Outdoor Club one of the prettiest naturist clubs in the country. Our club was founded over 54 years ago and has been developed by its members over the years into our Little Piece of Eden.

We welcome new members and have a mixed membership of families, couples and singles who enjoy each others’ company, and if you wish there are more peaceful spots in this lovely place, The Orchard! Work continues year on year to improve the facilities for our members.

We are in the heart of the East Anglia countryside between Cambridge and Ely, both steeped in their own history with many surrounding places of interest. Our club is owned by its members who gather together from far and near throughout the year from hot summer days to winter weekends to enjoy the naturist lifestyle.

The site is a beautiful mix of lawns, trees and flower beds, and if you feel like a bit more activity then Boules and other games are a few steps away from our Swimming Pool. Our BBQ is lit some evenings during the summer when members bring their own food to the flame and chat until the stars come out, or pop to the pavilion where we have a log burning fire and relaxing chairs for cold evenings and a well equipped kitchen that turns out fantastic food for the varied social calendar of events held throughout the year.
